If you have a connecting flight in Singapore, it should be more convenient. I went there half a month ago and bought two separate tickets for flying to and leaving Singapore, with a gap of about four days (the limit is 96 hours). When checking in for the flight to Singapore, the airline will first check your eligibility, and when you arrive in Singapore, the customs counter will check again, but as long as you meet the conditions, there should be no problem.
