As long as you don't miss the last ferry, you'll be fine. There are only two ferry routes that are relatively far, and I only took the one from Bodø to the Lofoten Islands. This ferry route has fewer schedules, especially for entering the island, so it's best to book in advance. The positions on the ferry are arranged by the guidance staff.
