Hallstatt is really just average compared to the rest of the lake region. CK town is not bad, but the crowds and commercialization are serious.

I just came back from Hallstatt to Upper Traun. There will be fewer people after 5 o'clock in the afternoon. It's not bad to play until 8 o'clock or so.

Hallstatt Ice Cave Salt Mine is worth a visit, the lake scenery is general, and the town is not particularly outstanding. Krumlov is just a stopover, I think Prague is more worth staying for a few more days.

I haven't been to Krumlov, but I have been to Hallstatt. I don't like it, and the scenery is not as beautiful as that of Goßau-Stadt-Grunthal Lake.

On July 18th, the scenery of the Harschstadt Lake area was average. It's better to go in the afternoon at 5 o'clock. When taking photos from the postcard angle, the church has good lighting. I live in Gosau, it's a little over 15 minutes by car. In the evening, the reflection of the snow-capped mountains at Gosau Lake is beautiful with the backlight. Personally, I think the scenery near the lake and the gas station is more beautiful.

CK town, there are indeed many tourists, some over-commercialization, but it's still nice. Hallein is really just average compared to other places in the lake district.
