Sometimes there is no room on booking but there is on eLong, because the hotel and eLong have an agreement. The nice room I want to book is always unavailable on booking but still available on eLong.

Another way is to use a proxy, open Google Maps, zoom in on Jasper town, look at all the hotels on the street, then click to see contact information and directly view the website or contact by email or phone. Banff Jasper is the most expensive and in short supply place for accommodation in Canada. Many people book six months in advance.
