I'm going from Verona to Milan, so for the highway tolls, when you pass through the tollgate, take the white lane and pay in cash. Some are toll roads, some are free. The free ones are close to which lake's ancient castle, but it's hard to find a parking spot. You're going to Lake Garda, there's a famous town nearby called Sirmione, I've been there too. It's easy to park there.
