Could anyone please share the experience of renting a GMC Yukon? How many suitcases can it fit ?

It depends on how many people you are sitting. We had four last time, so we took down the back of the last row and stuffed five 28-inch suitcases in, as well as two 20-inch ones, and there was still some space left. Generally speaking, five people plus five 28-inch suitcases should be fine.

I borrowed YuLan's 7-seater and put down the back row to fit three or four 28-inch suitcases

We rented a Magnolia and drove a Chevrolet Tahoe. There was no problem putting four large suitcases in the back.

I rented a Chevrolet Suburban of the same level as my GMC Yukon. It can accommodate 5 people and 6 28-inch suitcases, as well as 2 20-inch suitcases, with no pressure at all.

Trunk can only accommodate a 28 and a 24. The trunk space is very small.

The United States is very large, and every time you go somewhere it's different. As for cash and credit cards, to be honest, I haven't used much cash in recent years. I only keep cash for tips. Throughout the trip, I only used cash once at a strange restaurant in Salt Lake City for one night, and also used cash to send postcards at the Yellowstone post office. Everything else was done with credit cards, including self-service gas and meals. It was surprising to find out at a gas station in Carson City that they explicitly did not accept VISA credit cards and had to use a MasterCard.
