Excuse me, where can I buy a Swiss Half Fare Card? I'm going to Jungfrau in a few days and I hear the ticket is very expensive ?

It seems that there is a discount with the Swisspass for the half-price card, but many cable cars and the Gornergrat Mountain Railway still require tickets. The Swisspass 3-day ticket costs over 200 francs, so we didn't buy it because we are driving ourselves. It's very cost-effective if you are traveling by train.

I just went to the Jungfrau last month. Here are some tips for you to consider. First, don't go on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays, as there are too many people and the traffic in Interlaken is very congested. The hotel prices are relatively expensive, and those under 2000 are far from the train station. Second, when booking a room, unless you want to stay in the small town, you can book a place seven or eight kilometers away from the small town (I forgot what it's called, it's the starting point for the bus). The prices are cheaper, and you can find a place for under 2000 (the key is to just get by). The most important thing is that the train tickets are much cheaper, and most importantly, it's close to the train station, only one or two hundred meters away, so you don't have to drive to the station and deal with parking. Third, it's absolutely essential to buy the earliest tickets. In addition to being cheaper (you can save about a thousand per person), the fog is lighter in the morning and you can see the scenery. Also, there's no time limit on the observation deck in the morning. If you miss the early train and go up with the staff later, there will be a lot of people, and you won't be able to stay on the observation deck for long. I caught the first train up the mountain, and the experience was very good. There weren't many people on the mountain. After the second and third trains went up, it was chaotic. Personally, I don't think it's necessary to buy a half-price card. Just buy a regular entry card, which costs a little over 40 Swiss francs. It's not worth the risk. As long as there are few people entering Switzerland, if the car you rented doesn't have one, someone will indicate that you should buy one, and you can buy it at the customs in one or two minutes. Just for peace of mind, right?
