Hello everyone, when driving in Italy, is it necessary for two people to exchange driving and have both of them undergo embassy certification, or is it okay for one person to do it ?

Ha ha, I didn't plan to increase drivers through the garage and drive them secretly... Then it seems that one can be done!

First of all, you need to get the car rental company's consent. Some car rental companies charge extra for adding drivers. Second, the Italian embassy seems to be quite particular about authentication documents.

I don't know if the rental car company installs any devices on the rented car. Even if not, once an accident happens, the insurance will be invalid if the registered driver is not the one driving.

I mean, once an accident occurs, there must be means to determine the driver, but for any rented car, there must be a positioning system and corresponding devices, which do not need to extract data during normal times.

I shouldn't install anything, except in the United States because I can add drivers and register for free, other countries do not add drivers, and there are no problems!

Oh, that still needs to be considered well...
