Hello everyone, I have a question. We picked up the car in Vienna and drove to Brno, Czech Republic. The GPS told us to take a highway, but in fact, that highway had not yet been opened. We didn't know that and kept driving on it. Then someone stopped us. We thought they were bad guys and didn't stop. But later they caught up with us and stopped us again, educating us not to drive too fast. They even took photos. Will we be fined for this ?

If a fine is to be imposed, the ticket will generally be issued on the spot. The police will also consider the circumstances when enforcing the law.
