F26 has been given up, thank you all, but we still have to go the No. 1 highway. Leave from the Glacier Lake at noon and stay in Husavik at night. I also admit to walking at night. Unfortunately, there is no time. I want to experience the interior highway on the last day, from Akureyri to the Golden Waterfall and Geysir on F35, and stay in Reykjavik at night. I just don't know if F35 will still be open at that time ?

If you go whale watching in Husavik, make sure to wear waterproof shoes. Whale watching is not as beautiful as you imagine. The boat rocks for two hours at sea, and the time for whale watching is less than one minute. It's often just a glimpse of a tail or back and then it's gone.

My 5-day island loop was already crazy, but the roads were basically all good except for a few 3-digit roads, so the whole journey was not tiring, but your itinerary feels even crazier, it's simply impossible to complete.

We went whale watching in Reykjavik, but only saw a few small dolphins. The trip lasted for three hours, which was quite boring.
