First, it takes about four hours to drive from Los Angeles to Seal Beach, with various small towns and gas stations along the way, making it easy to find restrooms. Then the difficulty lies in the Big Sur section, which is beautifully primitive. I only saw that restroom, the clean waterfall, and the purple sand beach, all exuding a primitive atmosphere. I arrived at the waterfall around two o'clock, which is about halfway through Big Sur.
