Ernest Hemingway lived in this unimposing residence for over a decade, where he wrote his acclaimed works such as "For Whom the Bell Tolls," "The Snows of Kilimanjaro," and "A Farewell to Arms." His fans know of his fondness for cats, as he kept almost 50 felines in his home, most of which had six toes. Visitors can tour his work and living spaces, and admire the "Cat drinking fountain" and these unique breed of cats.
