Introduction

The National Independence Historical Park is an environment solemn and sacred place. Inside the scenic area, there is an independent plaza surrounded by green trees, where statues of great people stand tall on the flat grassy lawn, and a milky-white bell tower soars into the sky. The most ancient and elegant is the Independence Hall, with the old Pennsylvania State Court on the left and the venue for the Second Continental Congress and the Constitutional Convention on the right. The indoor furnishings are still in their original form. There are 13 tables arranged in a semicircle, representing the 13 colonies. The tables are covered with green velvet tablecloths, and silver bird feather pens are placed on the inkwells, while lighting is provided by candles. This simple and ordinary room is an important room that illuminates North American history. It is here that Washington was elected as Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army in 1775, the Declaration of Independence was passed in 1776, and the United States Constitution was passed in 1787.
