Introduction

Trinity Church, built in 1697, is located in the center of Capuli Square and is known for its towering 26-meter spire. Its stunning stained glass and rose sandstone exterior, along with its solemn bronze carving gates and spectacular bell tower, make it stand out among many churches. Designer Henry Hobson Richardson fused Roman painting style with American local architecture to create a unique "Richardson Romanesque" style that made Trinity Church one of the first churches in the United States to adopt this style. In 1885, it was voted one of the top ten buildings in the United States and became an important representative work of Richardson and American painter John La Farge. The interior of the church is full of exquisite details, with exquisite murals mainly completed by John La Farge, and beautiful arched windows and roof chandeliers that immerse you in a solemn atmosphere. In the bustling city, Trinity Church is like a dreamland, allowing you to feel the traces of centuries of history. The church's souvenir shop also sells some exquisite painted artworks. If you are not interested in the Bible or other religious items, consider these exquisite small decorative items.
