Platt Fields Park

Introduction

This is a natural leisure park located in the southern suburbs of Manchester. You can take a walk and have a picnic here. The park has a large lake in the center, where you can go boating and fishing. There is a small island in the middle of the lake. The park was originally the estate of the Platt family, and it was named after them. It was officially opened to the public for free in 1910.
