Introduction

Siena Cathedral is a grand building, even though only half of it was completed, it is still astonishing. It is built with black and white marble, forming a unique zebra-striped appearance, similar to the uniform of the Siena football team. Today, the unfinished part has been transformed into a museum where tourists can climb to the top floor and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Tuscan mountainous region. To reach Siena Cathedral, simply head towards the iconic black and white tower. Due to the absence of motor vehicles and public transport in the old town, visitors can only travel on foot.
