Introduction

Salvador Dali was a surrealist painter and printmaker, whose works explored the subconscious and he was known as a remarkable artist with extraordinary talent and imagination. The Dali Theatre-Museum is the largest museum of surrealist painting in the world, located in Dali Square, Figueres, Spain. The 19th century building was originally a town hall theater, destroyed during the Spanish Civil War, and later rebuilt under the supervision of Dali himself, who arranged all the art. Dali hoped that visitors could freely enjoy his works, so they were not arranged according to the year of creation and without titles or creation years marked. The museum collects Dali's paintings, sculptures, installation art, and collaborated with Disney to create animations. In addition, his own collections are also included in the museum. The most amazing thing is the Dali Jewel Museum next to the museum. The designer, Oscar Tusquets, combines 39 pieces of jewelry with gold, precious gems, and red coral. The exhibition is arranged in the same order as the Owen Cheatham exhibition designed by Dali and includes the original drafts of Dali's 27 sketches. The Dali Jewel Museum is a permanent exhibition of the museum that allows people to gain a deeper understanding of the extraordinary talent and imagination of this artist.
