Introduction

Convento de Santa Teresa, located on the former residence of Saint Teresa, was built in 1636. Saint Teresa, who was born here in the 16th century, represented the mysticism and asceticism of that time. Today, Convento de Santa Teresa has become a small chapel surrounded by orchards, exhibits of relics, and a small museum.
