Introduction

This bridge, built in the 13th century and adorned with two defensive towers, is a typical Gothic architecture. The Monastery of San Juan, also built in the Gothic style, was designed and constructed by the architect Juan Guas under the orders of the Catholic monarchs. The uniqueness of the monastery lies in its ornate sculptures and exquisite cloister carvings.
