The Hadrian's Gate is a marble monument built during the reign of the Roman Emperor Hadrian (117-138 AD). Located in the old town area, many family-run guesthouses use this ancient city gate as a landmark. The three arches of the Hadrian's Gate are intricately carved and the stone columns are extremely beautiful. Partial remains of the ancient city walls still surround it. It is a well-known landmark in the old city and one of the important sites easily found by tourists.
