Introduction

The Sunnegga viewing platform is located at an altitude of 2288 meters and can be reached in just over ten minutes from the cable car train located in the northern part of the town of Zermatt. Its name "Sunnegga" means "sunny corner" and it is hailed as a heavenly viewing platform. Upon arriving at the platform, you can admire the clear reflection of Leisee, as well as enjoy a panoramic view of the Matterhorn. This is an excellent starting point for hiking journeys.
