The city wall of Murten, Switzerland is a well-preserved and ancient defensive wall, built in the 14th century, with a length of over 900 meters. There are 9 uniquely-shaped lookout towers on the wall, of which Männliturm, Zeitturm, and Schirmerturm are open to tourists during the other three seasons except for winter. Standing on the city wall of Murten, tourists can overlook the panoramic view of the city of Lucerne, enjoy the lake and mountain scenery, and see the distant mountains in the horizon.
