Introduction

Nobelmuseet is located on the north side of the main square of the old town of Stockholm, Sweden, and is housed in the same building as the Swedish Academy and the Nobel Library. The museum was opened in spring 2001 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Nobel Prize. It promotes information related to the Nobel Prize, Nobel laureates, and the life of Alfred Nobel. The museum features exhibitions, a cinema, a theatre, scientific debates, a bookstore, a souvenir shop, and a café.

Opening hours
Summer season from June 1st to August 31st, open daily from 10:00 to 20:00
closed on June 20th (the night before the summer solstice). Winter season from September 1st to May 31st, open on Tuesdays from 11:00 to 20:00, and from Wednesday to Sunday from 11:00 to 17:00. Closed on Mondays, January 1st, December 24th, 25th and 31st.
