Introduction

Bergen Aquarium is one of the famous tourist attractions in Bergen, which can be reached by a 20-minute walk from the city center. It was opened to the public on August 27, 1960 and was the largest and most advanced aquarium facility in northern Europe at that time. There are over 60 display tanks in the aquarium, serving as habitats for various fish and marine invertebrates. There are also outdoor pools where seals, penguins, reptiles, and monkeys play. The aquarium showcases typical Norwegian aquatic wildlife and features a dedicated glass tunnel for viewing sharks.

From September to April, the opening time is from 10:00 to 18:00, and from May to August, the opening time is from 9:00 to 19:00.
