Introduction

The Lyon City Museum, located in the center of Lyon's old town, consists of two parts: the Lyon City History Museum and the Puppet Museum. The museum, located in three interconnected Renaissance-era buildings, underwent a ten-year renovation and reopened in 2009. By showcasing the history of Lyon over 2000 years and puppets from around the world, the museum offers visitors a glimpse into this city's rich history. After the visit, visitors can take a break in the museum garden, enjoy a cup of coffee, and experience the charm of the city.
