Introduction

The giant monument, officially named the Monument of Buzludzha, located on the peak of the Balkan Mountains in Bulgaria, is a popularly known as the Bulgarian UFO and also referred to as the "Infiltrated UFO" adventure trip. The monument was built by the Bulgarian Communist regime to commemorate the socialist movement organized by Dimitar Blagoev, a socialist leader, in the region in 1891. The monument has a futuristic design, adorned with exquisite decorations from Bulgarian history, and stands at a total height of 107 meters. However, with the fall of communism, the monument became a failed symbol, with no one responsible for its maintenance and management, gradually falling into disrepair and abandonment. Today, this abandoned building stands like a ruin, with a grayish-white, flat circular outer periphery adorned with a "candle," standing desolate on the windy mountaintop, giving a chilling feeling even in the summer. Inside, it is desolate and without any illumination, and many locals come here with their children to reminisce about their childhood memories and commemorate loved ones.
