Introduction

The Sand Island Shell Sand Exhibition Center covers an area of about 30 square meters. The main exhibition contents include an introduction to the location of the sand island, the formation of shell sand beaches, and related topics about shell sand as a protected object. The exhibition is divided into four sections, including lightbox displays, a sand appreciation area, a microscope and magnifying glass observation area, and a viewing platform. The lightbox display area includes pictures of beach sand, foraminifera, coral debris, shell debris, illustrations of shell sand formation, and carbonate content maps of various beaches in the national park. The sand appreciation area allows visitors to personally observe and touch the shell sand. The microscope and magnifying glass observation area provides a more detailed and in-depth understanding of shell sand. The viewing area and platform allow visitors to admire the panoramic view of the sand island beaches and the magnificent sea view. The purpose of the exhibition center is to promote better understanding of shell sand and strengthen awareness for its protection.
