Introduction
Dawan Beach, located near Kenting Forest Recreation Area in Taiwan, is under the jurisdiction of the Forest Bureau, not the Land Development Department. It is situated on the Baisha Strait, backed by Dajian Mountain, with clear blue sea and white sandy beaches surrounded by lush trees, showcasing the typical tropical scenery. Dawan Beach has a history that dates back to the earliest development of Kenting.
Currently, a section of Dawan Beach is leased by Xia Doo Beach Hotel and has become their exclusive beach area, only accessible for their guests. Due to Xia Doo's management, this section of beach has preserved its natural beauty. Another section is open for public access, although it may not be as scenic as Xia Doo's beach. Transportation Taiqi and Kaohsiung and Pingtung Coach, which go from Hengchun to Kenting, Eluanbi and other places, respectively, get off at Kenting Beach and Xiaowan Station.
