Introduction
Taipa, a small island of Macau, covers only six square kilometers. It is located south of the Macau Peninsula and north of Coloane Island. There are three cross-sea bridges connecting it with the Macau Peninsula, including the Macau-Taipa Bridge, the New Bridge, and the Ponte de Sai Van. Taipa Island has a beautiful environment with lush trees and flowers. It has a new urban area and multiple high-end hotels and casinos such as Galaxy, The Venetian, and Sands. Moreover, Taipa Island is also home to several famous tourist attractions, including the University of Macau, the Macau University of Science and Technology, the Rua do Cunha, the Macau Jockey Club, and Cotai Strip. The convenient ferry terminal and the Macau International Airport are also located on the east coast of the island.
