Introduction

The Avenue of Stars in the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront garden in Kowloon, Hong Kong, is a distinctive attraction designed to celebrate outstanding figures in the Hong Kong film industry. Following the example of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Avenue of Stars features over 100 movie industry professionals' names and handprints embedded in a specially-designed commemorative plaque, arranged chronologically to honor their contribution to Hong Kong's century-old film industry. In addition to numerous celebrity handprints, the Avenue of Stars also has a 2-meter-high bronze statue of Bruce Lee and a milestone in film development. While strolling along the Avenue of Stars, visitors can also enjoy the famous Victoria Harbour view and the distinctive coastal architecture of Hong Kong Island. It is also an ideal viewing point for Hong Kong's brand new multimedia light and music show, "A Symphony of Lights."
