Introduction

Phra Ratchaniwet Mrigadayavan is located on the northern coast of Hua Hin, 10 kilometers away from the city center. Built in 1923, it was a holiday resort constructed to treat the king's rheumatism. The palace is both functional and not overly luxurious, with a forest surrounding it. The palace's orchestra plays beautiful music, transporting visitors back in time. This palace took six years to build and was completed in 1910, under the reign of King Rama V. Designed by a German architect, the palace displays a mix of European and Asian architectural styles. From the central courtyard, marble floors, and European-style furnishings, one can see the artistic taste of Eurasian architecture in the early 20th century.
