Introduction

The aquarium in Thailand is located at the Thai Science Center of Vajirañana National Marine University, 80 kilometers away from Bangkok, covering an area of more than 70 acres. The museum displays a 10-meter long whale skeleton, which is said to be the result of the stranding and death of a giant whale on a nearby beach in 1975. In addition, there are several cylindrical acrylic tanks with a diameter of about 1 meter in the hall, showcasing a variety of representative tropical marine organisms, which appear to be magnified several times in the tanks. Furthermore, the museum also houses more than 40 glass tanks simulating different marine natural environments, ranging from the largest with a capacity of 200 tons of water to the smallest with only half a ton. In these glass tanks, visitors can see peculiar rock formations, colorful coral reefs, ancient shipwrecks, and various types of marine life such as cnidarians, mollusks, arthropods, echinoderms, and vertebrates. The museum has a wide variety of fish species, including edible fish, exotic ornamental fish, and poisonous fish. Visitors can immerse themselves in these glass tanks and feel like they are exploring the underwater world.
