Introduction

The tower on the mountaintop is quite distinctive. The Ancient City of Samut Prakan Province is known as one of the largest outdoor museums in the world. It covers an area of 200 acres and is full of cultural charm. Although it is called a museum, it is actually an outdoor recreational area, so there is no "building" presence. The ancient city is located in Samut Prakan Province, about 30 kilometers southeast of Bangkok, visible from the Sukhumvit Highway. It was established by a Thai-Chinese businessman named Lue Wiriya Pan, also known as Lin Guohua in Chinese, who invested in building this private property. Due to his love for traditional Thai art and history, when he saw traditional landmarks gradually disappearing, he decided to rebuild Thailand's classic historical and cultural sites. Construction began in 1963 and took more than 10 years and over 1 billion baht investment to complete this "world's largest outdoor museum." The attractions in the ancient city are mostly built in a 1:1 scale of the real famous scenic spots, giving visitors the feeling of strolling through the beautiful scenery of Thailand.
