Introduction

On the eastern shore of Lake Kawaguchi, there is a park where you can take the Mount Tenjo Ropeway and go directly to the middle of the mountain to enjoy the park. The park is spacious and offers beautiful views, with excellent observation platforms where you can overlook Mount Fuji and the town below.

Opening hours

Cable cars have different operating hours on different dates. March 1 - April 15: 9:00 - 17:10 April 16 - October 15: 9:00 - 17:20 October 16 - November 30: 9:00 - 17:10 December 1 - February 28: 9:30 - 16:40 Cable cars will stop running under special weather conditions.

Transportation

You can take the cable car at Tianwaishan Park to the mountain top and then walk down. Alternatively, you can walk up the mountain following the signs along a road next to the cable car entrance at the foot of the mountain.
