Introduction

Kouri Island, located in the northern part of Okinawa's main island, is surrounded by approximately 8 kilometers of coastline. The island is filled with sugarcane fields and ancient Okinawan architecture, making it a popular location for movies and advertisements. There are also many charming attractions on the island, such as the Origin Cave and Heart Rock. Additionally, the 30-meter high cliffs near the Kouri Island Lighthouse stretch for about 2 kilometers, creating a magnificent sight. The beach near the Kouri Bridge attracts many visitors for beach activities and snorkeling. Watching the sunset from the bridge in the evening is a spectacular experience.

Transportation

Take the Route 72 bus from Nago bus station, it takes about 30 minutes. Get off at Uneno and then take another bus for about 5 minutes to reach your destination.
