Introduction

The creation of the Arimato Toy Museum began in 2003. The founder, Akio Nishida, and his friends shared a common goal of showcasing and promoting traditional Japanese toy culture through this museum. Akio Nishida became the first curator. The museum features different types of toy displays on the 3rd to 6th floors, with the "Automaton" exhibit being particularly popular and highly regarded by visitors from around the world. Additionally, the 1st floor of the museum houses a toy workshop and experiential studio, where occasional toy classes and activities are held.
