Introduction

A building initially constructed in 1903, the Bluff Greenhouse, was once used as an apartment by the American Consul General in Kobe, Hunter Sharp. Its pale green exterior is quite eye-catching and gives a sense of tranquility. If you visit the corridor on the south side of the second floor of the Bluff Greenhouse, you can enjoy the beautiful sea view of Kobe Bay. The Bluff Greenhouse is designated as a National Important Cultural Property in Japan, and its history and architectural style are still widely recognized.
