Introduction

The headquarters of Kasuga Shrine in Japan, the shrine is not very big, but it includes facilities such as Manyo Botanical Garden and Treasure Hall; it is a very charming shrine, with stone lanterns from various eras on both sides of the approach, creating a unique landscape. The presence of small deer adds to the lively atmosphere.

Opening hours
From April to September, the opening hours are from 6:00 to 18:00. From October to the following March, the opening hours are from 6:30 to 17:00. The special worship in front of the main hall is from 8:30 to 16:45.
Transportation
Take a Nara Kotsu Bus (JR Yamato Line, Kintetsu Nara Line) from Nara Station towards the direction of Kasuga Taisha Main Shrine. The bus ride takes approximately 11-15 minutes. Get off at the "Kasuga Taisha Hon-den" bus stop.
