Introduction

A unique and exceptional building, the Osaka Housing and Living Museum in the northern part of the Kitakyushu International Techno-Association, recreates the original appearance of Osaka's past houses and streets, showcasing the lifestyles of the people at that time. The museum also houses a complete model of Osaka during the Edo period, which is the only one of its kind. Visitors can learn about Osaka's development and the lifestyles of different historical periods through interactive exhibits.

Opening hours
Open from Wednesday to Monday from 10:00 to 17:00, with the last entry 30 minutes before closing. Closed on Tuesdays (if Tuesday is a public holiday, the museum will be closed on Wednesday), and closed on the third Monday of each month. Closed from December 29th to January 2nd.
Transportation
Take the Subway Tanimachi Line, Hankyu Line, or Sakaisuji Line to Tenjinbashi Roku-chome Station (Tenjimbashisuji Rokujo Station). Exit through the No.3 exit to reach your destination. Alternatively, take the JR Osaka Loop Line to Temma Station (Temma Eki) and walk north for about 7 minutes to arrive.
