Introduction

The Kyoto International Manga Museum is a museum devoted to the theme of manga. It houses a collection of 300,000 materials related to Japanese domestic and international manga works and manga history since the Meiji era. Additionally, there are nearly 50,000 manga volumes available for visitors to enjoy. The museum also hosts manga-related activities such as manga workshops for people to participate in.

Opening hours

10:00-18:00, last admission is at 17:30. Extended opening hours are available during certain seasons. Closed on Wednesdays, and during year-end and new year holidays. The museum also undergoes maintenance three times a year. Please confirm details via phone or website.
