Introduction

Mekong Riverside Park is a beautiful green space in Vientiane, named after the Mekong River that runs through it. The park features a statue of King Chao Anouvong, facing towards Thailand, as if expressing his longing for the lost land. Additionally, there is a pond with a statue of the Naga protective deity. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll along the Mekong River, feeling the cool river breeze and enjoying a relaxing time.
