Introduction

A commemorative building was completed in 1958 in the central roundabout south of the Cambodian Royal Palace. The purpose of this building is to celebrate Cambodia's independence from French colonial rule. The building is located at the intersection of Norodom Boulevard and Sihanouk Boulevard.
