Introduction

Qianshan, formerly known as Jicui Mountain, is said to have 999 peaks and looks like a blue lotus flower extending towards the sky from afar, hence its name Qianduo Lianhua Mountain, or simply Qianshan. Qianshan was formed about 3.8 billion years ago, with its highest peak Xianren Tai standing at about 708.5 meters above sea level and the total area of the scenic spot being around 125 square kilometers. Qianshan is the largest religious gathering place in the northeast, with nearly 40 temples such as Longquan Temple, Zuyue Temple, Xiangyan Temple, Zhonghui Temple, Da'an Temple, Wuliangguan and Wulong Palace, where Buddhism and Taoism coexist. Especially noteworthy is the world's largest Tiancheng Maitreya Buddha, standing 70 meters tall, with the words "Qianshan Maitreya Buddha" personally inscribed by Mr. Zhao Puchu, former chairman of the Buddhist Association of China, and "Tiancheng Maitreya dharma center" personally inscribed by Ven. Jue Guang, vice president of the World Buddhist Federation. Qianshan attracts friends from all over the world with its beautiful natural scenery and profound religious culture, making it a great place to visit.
