Introduction

Meicheng Town, under the jurisdiction of Jiande City, is a thousand-year-old ancient town located in the eastern part of the city, covering an area of 157 square kilometers with a population of about 50,000. It is composed of 13 administrative villages and 5 communities. Meicheng is named after its city wall, which resembles a plum blossom. It is an important part of Jiande City's economy and has been awarded various honorary titles, such as National Strong Town, Zhejiang Province's first batch of central towns, Zhejiang Province's green small towns, Zhejiang Province's health towns, Zhejiang Province's advanced towns in social security, and Zhejiang Province's strong towns in education. After the reform and opening up, Meicheng has achieved fruitful results, realizing rapid economic development and progress in various social undertakings, and significantly improving the living standards of its residents. Meicheng Town is located at the confluence of Fuchun River, Xin'an River, and Lanjiang River, north of Wulong Mountain and south of the mouth of the three rivers, with obvious geographical advantages, beautiful scenery, long history, and many talented people.

Transportation
Take a long-distance bus from Hangzhou Automotive West Station to Meicheng (one every half hour), which takes 2 hours and costs 20 yuan. From Meicheng to Jiande (Xin'an River), it takes 40 minutes and costs 4.5 yuan.
