Introduction

Hemudu Site is one of the earliest Neolithic cultural sites in China, divided into four cultural layers: the fourth cultural layer dates back 7000-6500 years ago, the third cultural layer dates back 6500-6000 years ago, the second cultural layer dates back 6000-5500 years ago, and the first cultural layer dates back 5500-5000 years ago. The site was excavated starting in 1973 and is an important part of China's late Neolithic sites. Hemudu Site consists of a museum and on-site exhibition area. Visitors can view a rich collection of unearthed artifacts and learn more about Hemudu's history and culture through interactive touchscreens. If you visit with children, it will be a rare opportunity to learn and experience the wisdom and lifestyle of ancient people together.

Last admission time: 16:30 (Monday-Sunday from April 1 to October 31).
Transportation
Bus: 1. Take a minibus bound for Luojiang at Ningbo Bus North Station or Yuyao Bus East Station, and get off at the destination. 2. Take the bus route 301 to the final stop Tianxia Yuyuan Station in the city center, which takes about 50 minutes and costs 2 yuan. Then transfer to the route 515 and get off at the Heumudong Relics stop for 2 yuan. Walk along the path for about 300m and take a ferry to the Heumudong Relics for a ferry fee of 6 yuan. Return the same way after visiting.
