Introduction

-This garden has a history of over 800 years and is the only surviving Song-style garden among several classical gardens in Shaoxing's history. -When visiting Shen Garden, be sure to go see the screen wall re-built with old Song dynasty bricks, engraved with the poem "Chai Tou Feng" by Lu You in memory of his beloved cousin Tang Wan. -Shen Garden is famous for the tragic love story between Lu You and his cousin Tang Wan, and has now become a famous love-themed garden in Shaoxing. -The night time at Shen Garden is even more romantic and mysterious, particularly during the "Tang Hui" event at Shuanggui Hall, where you can watch exciting performances, including "Chai Tou Feng".
