Introduction

After nearly a thousand years of wind and rain, the village of Cangpo still retains the appearance of Song Dynasty architecture, with walls, streets, houses, pavilions, ancestral halls, water pools, and ancient cypress trees all revealing a strong ancient charm. The streets and alleys of the village are in the shape of a Bagua, with the drum-shaped Gupan Alley at the center and the eight roads leading to the southeast, northwest, and outside the village. In addition, there are park ponds and embankments on the east and west sides, with beautiful scenery. The village is planned around the "Four Treasures of the Study" with the main street known as "Pen Street", facing the neighboring Bijia Mountain to the west of the village. The two park ponds symbolize the "inkstone", the stone strips on both sides represent the "ink", and the surrounding plain symbolizes the "paper". This layout aims to encourage future generations to study and serve, promote culture, and carry forward the ancestral heritage.
