Introduction

The Hanging Great Wall, a Ming Dynasty building, is located on the northern slope of Heishan Mountain, 8 kilometers north of Jiayuguan Pass. The theme of the scenic area is centered around the culture of the ancient Silk Road and the Great Wall. The ancient Silk Road culture corridor runs through the entire scenic area. The scenic area is divided into four main functional areas: the cultural corridor area of the ancient Silk Road at Shiguang Gorge, the military defense system area of the Hanging Great Wall, the leisure vacation area, and the management area. The Great Wall is not only flat like a plain, but also steep like a cliff, with a very graceful manner, similar to the Great Wall at Badaling. Standing on the Great Wall, visitors can enjoy the vast scenery outside the Pass.
