Introduction

The big bend of the Jinsha River is called Moon Bay. This river runs through the entire region from north to south, passing through Dingqu River, receiving water from Mayi River and Shuoqu River, and flowing into the Jinsha River. At the place where the river converges, a landscape of "three walls and two rivers" is formed. The Jinsha River passes through valleys and mountains all the way to reach this Sichuan-Yunnan stronghold. Just before reaching this destination, it seems to want to slow down, forming a "U" shaped big bend here. As one of the forty major landscapes in China, the big bend of the Jinsha River offers a breathtaking view from the mountaintop, allowing people to appreciate the beauty of nature.
