Introduction

Jinding Peak is the second highest peak of Mount Emei, adjacent to its highest peak, Wannian Temple. It is the most concentrated area of temples and scenic spots on Mount Emei, as well as the most essential part of Mount Emei. From the top of Jinding Peak, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Chengdu Plain. On clear days, you can even see the Gongga Snow Mountain. The Buddha's light, sunrise, sea of clouds, and holy lamps are one of the four major landscapes of Mount Emei. The three major landscapes of Jinding Peak include Buddha's light, sunrise, and sea of clouds. In addition, Jinding Peak also has the world's tallest golden Buddha statue, the four-faced Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, where visitors can worship.

Opening hours
All day (January 1 - December 31, Monday to Sunday) Tips: At around 14:30 in the afternoon, you need to take the sightseeing car to go to Jinding. To enter the mountain, you need to check the departure time of the sightseeing car. If the sightseeing car is closed, you won't be able to go up the mountain. The Jinding cable car operates from 20 minutes before sunrise to 18:00.
